Anti-Racism in Action - Your Party

Masked militia-style fascists on our streets. Women being assaulted by racists. Children facing escalating racist abuse in schools. Harrowing racial disparities in healthcare and policing. And mainstream political parties that are more interested in scapegoating than offering real solutions. We see it. We know it. But what do we do about it? On 18 October, join our Anti-Racism in Action event to answer that question. The event in Birmingham will be led by CEC members from the global majority, Candi Williams, Mel Mullings and Noor Jahan Begum. It’ll feature incredible speakers, including Busayo Twins and Charmaine Blaize from the Post Growth Institute, panels and workshops exploring what an anti-racist alternative looks like, as well as fun and food! Racism is political, and it demands a political answer. Anti-Racism in Action will explore the politics and structures that enable racism, alongside developing practical actions we can take at a party, community and individual level.
